Darling Daizy: Jalopy
Long ago, in the late 90s and early aughts, a tiny punk band from Fevik, Norway hired me to design shirts and cds for them…They are called Darling Daizy. Each new design i did was better than the last, but never until now has any of them been any good. Last week, Erik (the frontman) contacted me about designing a new shirt for their comeback (they hadn’t played together for 9 years!). so naturally i jumped at the chance, this time fully loaded with years of knowledge and skill about what to do for them. and i wanted to do something old school along the lines of Jack Davis (though this is a failed attempt at working his style, it’s still a pretty neat image). i’m rather satisfied with how this design is.

perhaps is should note that this was drawnin MS4 with Frenden’s rough brush.
